Running for: Secretary of Agriculture
Bio: Tim Gannon is a farmer through and through. Growing up in Mingo, Iowa, Tim learned at an early age that Iowan farmers not only feed the nation and world but also serve as the backbone of the rural community. For almost a decade, from 2009 to 2017, Tim worked for Tom Vilsack, former governor and U.S. Secretary of Agriculture in a number of roles with a chief focus on improving risk management options for farmers and ranchers. Tom and his wife, Liz, welcomed their daughter, Lucy, almost a year ago. They and their dog, Bert, are ready to win!
